By the cooking aspect, slashing a fish with the thermoblade will instantly cook it, instead of just killing it with the survival knife

The only thing that can even make you think you're hurt are the cave crawlers, and they probably take like 1-10 HP off, if they're like real close

But it's not that bad. Lifepods are usually pretty safe, with the exception of Lifepod 2
