I saw a walk-through showing one of the entrances near the geyser on the edge of the safe shallows to the kelp forest and I do know where that spot is at if I take my seamoth down there with no upgrades, just as a way to have access to air while I explore outside of it, is there something down there that takes a liking to vehicles?

We can't assume they don't care about Riley because it was them that made and sent the blueprints for the rocket. The pda tells you you're in debt but for all we know alterra could have relieved him of it, because he's a survivor and the data he collected is very much valuable

Multiple beacons in the game show u the cave entrance, the one u r most likely to have is the beacon for life pod 17 which literally says stranded near large cave system.
There are things that take a liking to vechiles, ||crab snakes are more likely to aggro if u park at or above the height of their jelly Shroom homes and less likely if at a lower elevation than the shrooms. However I’ve found they might aggro regardless of height for reasons idk so I stopped caring.||

I'd like to point out the dunes aren't as bad as people make them out to be (Assuming you have a seamoth or a seaglide). Yes there's a bunch of leviathans but it's a huge biome and they're far spread out. And you can strafe with a seamoth or a seaglide to dodge the attacking Reaper Leviathans.
Another thing is, you can still progress without ever visiting the dunes, if you wish to, you'll find those fragments in other biomes as well so the dunes isn't a crucial biome to visit, at all.

I struggle to see any location compete with the aurora as the go to location for metal salvage.

The floor around it has dozens, probably at least a couple hundred metal salvage (if u count the whole thing). Certain parts of it are relatively safe(possibly fully safe) from reaper leviathans.

I usually get like 3 dozen or more metal salvage from the area outside the southwest of the aurora. And this part is pretty shallow, I don’t think reaper leviathans can come here

Negative SI will probably cause flooding, which makes the base useless, might wanna get it braced up so you can actually use it

If base integrity is less than 0, new holes keep appearing and the base will flood with water. If you don't mind having lights off and no air in your base then it's an option. You could also just slam reinforcement somewhere temporarily and remove it when the base is finished and you have enough reinforcements built elsewhere (or foundations/bulkheads)

Are you using correct version of the game for the mods? The newest patch made most mods incompatible and I guess not all of them have not yet been updated to work with the current version

So im down in the lost river and ive got a base with a multipurpose room and moon pool for my prawn suit. The multi room has a bio reactor and a water filtration machine. But the bioreactor is struggling?? Like ive powered MUCH bigger bases with a bio reactor and its been fine so im confused

Size of the base doesn't affect power consumption. Water filtration machine alone uses power a bit faster than bioreactor produces (51 per second vs 50 per second). Build some thermal plants...

If i stand still when it loads, it seems to be fine, but if I start to walk or swimng or even move the camera sometimes, it just stops responding and crashes

its prob not a RAM issue nor a GPU issue, i have the most recent drivers and ram never got past 80% usage

As for the warpers they should just look at you.

And when you get close to them, they'll warp away.

Imo bioreactors need refueling way too often and you need multiple for a regular base

I prefer playing in freedom mode, so one bioreactor is plenty - I keep mine stuffed with acid shrooms and it's happy as can be

Its weird because my previous save I had was on Xbox and I was able to power a base with 2 moon pools, a scan room, and 4 multi rooms (one with a filtration machine, fabricator, radio, etc). But then I did the same on PC and it cant keep up
