each knife swing does 40 damage. the stasis rifle locks an enemy down long enough to comfortably slash them 20 times and then fire the rifle again well before they start moving. if you drop some gasopods from your inventory near them, that will deal ~120 damage each too. if you do it this way you can finish off a leviathan in the time it takes for 3-6 stasis rifle shots. doing it with the prawn looks really difficult and you're risking your prawn suit if you make a mistake

i just went out with a torpedo stacked prawn suit, a stasis rifle, 5 medkits and a thermoblade, in total i killed 43 sandsharks around my base
