I have found that Silent Running does absolutely nothing to avoid aggroing the leviathans.

I did all the Lost River and Lava Zone exploring exclusively with my PRAWN.

I'm currently gathering the ingredients for the enzyme.

And for some reason, the one time I tried getting my cyclops to the Lost River, I left it parked in the 900 meters mark, and when I returned to it all the power cells were depleted, even though I had turned off the engine before leaving it.

I had to go to my base on the PRAWN, charge some power cells, and go back to the Cyclops to get it out of there.
