Each arm doesn't havwe a niche purpose, the drill arm allows you to get tons of materials from nodes found everywhere.

Yes but they make the late game extremely more managable, and as far as I know you actually require the drill arm to be able to progress further in the game at one point

You need to drill arm to get lots of materials faster.
Grapple helps you move a whole lot faster as compared to the prawn's normal speed. Those are actually good and add towards the gameplay

Yes, they used a hidden OS folder without player consent and assumed everyone's windows builds were Enterprise versions.

the game created the folder C:/ProgramData/Unknown Worlds/ because it had no permission to access C:/ProgramData/. Allow everyone read and write permissions to fix it

Watch the radar thing off to the side. If you see a yellow mark on it, that’s your signal something dangerous is nearby
That’s when you need to use something like silent running +/- launch a decoy or whatever
Yes, using silent running uses a lot of energy, be sure you’ve got the engine efficiency module installed for the cyclops because that helps some at least
And as mentioned, you always want to carry spare power cells. Also don’t install a power cell charger in the cyclops, because that’s just moving charge from one set of power cells to another
