you need to make a cyclops, get the first depth upgrade from || grand reef||, then go to ||lost river and get nickel for the next cyclops upgrade||, then get ||kyanite from the lava zone to get the last cyclops upgrade bringing you to a 1700m crush depth||

alternatively you can use the prawn suit and do only two upgrades (same materials as the last 2 cyclops upgrades)
