You can build without foundations

They add a bit to base integrity

Just not as much as either bulkheads or reinforcements

You don't actually need to kill stalkers for their teeth

In fact, killing them is counter-productive to getting teeth

When a stalker grabs scrap metal, it will sometimes drop a tooth. There's some strats about breeding a bunch and releasing them in the aurora with a bunch of scrap metal but that's kind of overkill unless your dream base has a billion observatories

you can use a grav trap with few scrap metals

they cant take the scrap and all the teeth are in one place

for integrity, its needed (but reinforcement is good as well so) its not compulsory but a good addition

No, you should be able to find it. The active pool is shared between Steam and Epic. The only valid reason you would rebuy it on Steam is probably if you want to try mods that aren't compatible with the current version of the game. Note that I was informed Nitrox should have the 2.0 update soon.
