Mostly, there are reapers in the mountains but they tend to be deep enough you can make the drive all the way to the island without them bothering you, only gotta worry about a warper, and once youre on land theres tons of shale

All databoxes and fragments (and resources) in dunes can also be found elsewhere, for exmaple water filtration suit databox can also be found in bulb zone. The only unique things are some pdas, data terminal downloads and decorative items (cap with different color than elsewhere)

You have multiple solutions. In order of the difficulty:

• The heightmap was in the game files at some point, so you can download an older build.
• You can extract the minimeshes, used for displaying the holographic map on the Seaglide and scanner room and assemble them in Blender.
• Or directly extract the voxeland. In the form of octrees with Dual Contouring to make the mesh from that data. Like the game does.

Yeah if you have a good heat source nearby, 100 degrees is its max effieicny and 3 of them are better than one nuclear reactor at max, but if you have some vents nearby and don’t have a power hungry base, but too lazy for bioreactor or too deep for solar it’s fine

Solar for starter, or if your near the surface, bioreactor for anywhere and mid game or forever if you don’t need all the power, thermal if your near heat (at the very least as a good “blocker” for your bioreactor/nuclear) and nuclear for when your late game, too rich to care, or if you need way too much power

for some reason I cannot find any kyanite that arent large deposits, and im below 900m, this is hell

destroy the lump and the creature will come straight at you , it only damamges you once and deals not that much damamge though

then go to the lump and youll see a cave sulfur inside it
