All of the information you need to complete the game is communicated in game, you just have to actually pay attention. All audio transmissions are also recorded as text that you can go back and read whenever you want

It's also possible to find cyclops engine fragments on the shores of mountain island, and if they happen to be on western/southern side, they are in safe area. Similarly approaching Aurora thrusters from the port side is safe, and it's possible to find engine fragments on the side mear the thrusters, but not 'behind' them

There is something you can do to fix the radiation, it's one of the first things I do upon starting the game and seeing the explosion

It could be several things. Your skin carries its own bacteria, then there’s stuff from soil and getting debris caught in the wound. You should go get it looked at. Infections can get very serious, from infections of the wound that spread to the rest of fingers/toes or the limb, to sepsis (what most people call blood poisoning). Most people are vaccinated against tetanus but if you don’t know your status you may need a booster shot

Having several storage modules in the seamoth is helpful
You don’t need a depth module for the crash zone since it’s very shallow where you enter the aurora
You can have perimeter defense if you want

If you hug the side of the aurora as you approach from where lifepod 5 is, you won’t encounter Sammy, unless you’ve moved him out of position.

I've never been attacked by a reaper getting into the aurora, just approach it closely and you'll be fine

All of the life pod spawn locations should be a safe straight shot to the aurora entrance without finding a reaper

It's absolutely possible to rarely see a reaper near the ship entrance, but generally they don't get close enough to be a problem and if they do, it's almost certainly because you were messing with them beforehand

But some people have not a lot of time to game, or they have fears of the deep, or they’re helping someone else with the game themselves, any number of reasons we can’t know. You can hear the reaper at the front as you’re entering the aurora, but you shouldn’t be attacked if you’re approaching close to the side of it and enter when you first can

im pretty sure subnautica zero is a dlc

so you probably need normal subnautica

and subnautica zero is more focused on land

so just get the normal game and if you really REALLY like it then get zero

Id reccomend the original game, below zero was meant to be a DLC but became too big for the original and became a spin-off game (only a short one tho) If you like the original game then by all means go ahead and buy below zero.
