I would make an outpost rather than move your entire base. An outpost is more like a smaller base you build than an entire main base, think of it like a satellite base

If you have a cyclops ready to take the prawn suit down (I usually take the seamoth down first to gather some specific resources like nickel and crystalline sulfur for cyclops and prawn upgrades), the cyclops works as a good mobile base to carry a lot of things with you. But it can still be nice to make a small base of operations to have just in case, or for charging power cells for cyclops and prawn if need be

Hardcore itself isn’t harder in terms of any behind the scenes mechanics, it’s just permadeath
The leviathans aren’t made harder, or less resources or anything like that, but it feels less forgiving since you can’t save other than when you quit playing, and you can’t respawn. There’s also no oxygen alerts. Stuff like that.

Like a lifepod very close to it or something
