Depends how you define best (what resources needed?, power transmitters needed? etc.) and how much/fast power your base uses.

One bioreactor is usually enough if it's not your home base where everything goes on.

Bioreactor is cheap to make and biofuel is available everywhere (even without setting a farm). Solar and thermal don't need maintenance but may need power transmitters to set up effectively, and may also need to build several of them. Nuclear is fastest to produce energy and has large reserves, but needs some materials to build

You need internet of course, but not necessary at the start of the game. The time capsules are only fetched when you generate them.

Meaning when you load the areas the first time.

If you start a game offline, stay around the Safe Shallows, and then play online and go to Sparse Reef you'll find them.

I hate how the cooked meter goes down the moment you cook something though, you can't just keep it in your inventory and have it stay good

And if you get desperate, you can take a gel sack and replant it (whole, not even as a seed) in an exterior growbed. You can then attack it twice to get two seeds, then pick the whole plant, plant it again, and then cut the gel sack twice again for another two free seeds. Picking the gel sack clears the damage counter.

There are all sorts of funny ways to get free resources :). Like if you build a scanner room, remove the two drones, and then disassemble the scanner room. The drones still stay around, and when you rebuild the scanner room, it comes with another two drones. Infinite drone army :)

Absolutely :) you get two of the same creature in a single habitat and they will start laying eggs and breeding like crazy (especially crash fish). Anything that is hatched in your creature habitat can be put in your inventory and will always be nonhostile to you, even when you release them into the wild. When they get released, they usually stay around there as long as there's a steady food source.

Some upgrade modules can change the looks of the vehicle a bit (for example prawn arm upgrades look different and seamoth storage locker can be seen), and some upgrades like depth modules don't show at all

hi, I am new to Subnautica and I do have a strange issue
while fighting with a reaper in prawn suit somehow my seamoth I parked not far away got burrowed under the sand - how to get it out?

You can only find a total of 3 prawn suit fragments in wrecks: you have to go inside Aurora to unlock the blueprint (and there's 5 suit fragments to scan in there)

Reload save...(that's the way to retrieve that seamoth)

unfortunately I tried that but made a save when got out of prawn to rep it a bit during the fight and it was already under :/
