The Cyclops is a fantastic vehicle for exploring long distances.
It can provide much of the functions of a base (storage, crafting, and food) while also being able to move around
If you set up outposts with power cell chargers around the crater to stop and recharge you'll be able to go all over the place.

There's no rush to build it but it'll be very useful once you have it

It's also very good if you find resource gathering tiring, not only can you store huge amounts by building storage lockers inside but you can carry a prawn suit to crack open large resource chunks.

anyway, you must go behind the || tree cove ||, you'll eventually see a drop that has || lava in it and that should lead you to it ||

theres actually 2 entrances but one is enough

Well if we wanna get technical it’s not just crash fish that can kill you in the safe shallows

If you’re a little too close to an acid mushroom while swinging your knife it’ll eventually kill you

literally any death in the shallows is intentional

If you’re new to the game and aren’t good at the evasive type of mechanics with the swimming yet you can die to a crash fish and it not be intentional

The base is just like a sea moth. Then you can add modules (big cargo containers that you can walk through) behind it

It slows down as it gets bigger

The vehicle upgrade console in the moonpool lets you fabricate upgrades, but some of them require blueprints from databoxes in wrecks.

I don't think either of those require one, though
