Yk I've played many comp games and invested time into countless of them to get at a reasonably high lvl. And I always notice a trend that developers do which directly result in a game dying. This is the nerfing of everything and making everything weak and everything not special anymore with carry potential gutted.

This patch does precisely this. Every strong character was nerfed, and every strong item was nerfed. Of the 2 models of having everything good or everything weak the everything good model ALWAYS works better. Making all numbers so low and slow will make good players have much less of an impact and creativity at an all time low. Songbow change is an example of creativity removed. No one asked for an across board chopping block. Patches like this will demoralize every high lvl player and content creator and character mains from playing. It isn't worth it to play just to take 1 million hits to kill ppl and to get armory items that have half the impact.

That is all I am not the best at explaining but maybe you know what I mean. And you will see what comes of this, I played these games before lol

Literally none of that is the reason this game is going to die lol

Having out of tune champs and out of tune items does not keep people playing, it just leads to abuse of hunters/items and is incredibly frustrating to most. This is something that already has caused many people to stop playing. Most people that play want for fights to feel more meaningful and strategic, not getting dunked off screen or trying to gun down a shiv who is dashing every .5 seconds and healing 20% of her missing health every time she does it. TC has already said they are aiming to bring the other items in line with the power of the more popular relics, while toning down SOME of the current ones power. Not a single person I know who plays this game wants to see a lobby full of wukong level busted hunters running around or people continuously spamming abilities and dashes with no cooldown.

While this post about Bebbo nerf is obvisouly not justified, it is a reccuring patern where devs nerf characters to a point where everyone has felt annoyed by they favorite hunter getting a big nerf.

For every character it's either been mega shit since release or a series of nerf.
If you played Joule in Open Beta you got nerfed 4 times.
If you played Brawl in Open Beta you got nerfed 4 times.
If you played Hudson in Open Beta you got nerfed 4 times.
If you played KP in Open Beta you got nerfed 4 times.
If you played Oath in Open Beta you got nerfed 4 times.
If you played Beebo in Open Beta you got nerfed 4 times.
If you played Jin in Open Beta you got nerfed 4 times.

Not to mention how many times they went straight for the kit changing the whole feeling of how the hunter is played (KP, Oath, Joule, Brawl, Jin)

If you add everything, 66% of the cast got nerfed to a point where it's enough for you to drop the hunter

People just left the game due to not wanting to OTP their champ anymore

But even tho I feel like that is kind of dumb. Luke balsnce is changing, game is actually trying for the first rime in so fucking long to be balanced. So many of the "nerfs" you speak of were barely even nerfs.
Beebo, brall, and jin will get nwrfed ao much due to tcs inability to make them not feel shot to play against. Let's give a character literally every tool in the game and the best mobility, what could go wrong?(brall) Let's make an assassin that just denies half the map by existing and has the highest mobility in the game as well to where even brwll struggles to catch him, we gotta nerf that now cus people don't find it fun to play against upsetting the players of said character.(jin) Let's make a character with literally infinite cc and mobility that is in the top 5 of the cast and mske him win 99% of trades and just deny multiple characters there killing moves, this will create insane frustrations but who cares he'll be fun 😁.

I've been commenting on that for a long time(literally around aug-sep 2024 even if not crazy long in comparison it's still a long time). But yea seems like no one cares cus all people seem to care about is if a character is fun to play and that decides if it is well designed. Even tho there is an entire other area that you need to take into account when designing characters that a lot simply ignored. Like I cannot ever call beebo, brall, wukong, or even jin even tho jin is in a lot better state(with this topic) "good design" since they almost entirely ignore how it feels to play against them. Void is kind of another example with his teleport onto terrain and stun. It's been an issue for a while and it's even the reason specific hunters sre on the receiving end of a billion nerfs.

I can already tell you Brall needed the nerfs he got. He was so special he was killing the game. Able to 4v1 for a ridiculously long time.

Hudson got gutted in a single week, but it took brall over 5 months and he was still A tier after the billions of nerfs

What made beebo strong wasn't his mobility, it's just so stupid.

Like it sucks your guy's s+ champ got nerfed. Like I'm sorry an overperforming champ had to get hit. Like please, why tf do you guys wqnt your hinter to stay op

I had to back to teammates repeatedly because I couldn’t keep up with ghost brall

And the only way to offset this was with grabby bomb

Ghost brall is legit the worst example for characters you can't keep up with lol but ok.

I do find his dash nerf weird cus it was legit never what I thought needed nerfs.
I simply find how people are acting about it kinda weird. Like yes it hurts that's for sure, but there is just no way I see it being as bad as people act like.
