Is it really necessary for the game to always limit our vision to such a tiny area in front of the character?
We constantly have to spin the camera around our character without a break, and if we stop for even a second—or just don’t check our side or back—something can easily dash or spawn right next to us without us noticing.
Also, what about situations where an enemy is standing on a tiny step above us? Suddenly we can’t see them at all, even though for our character it would just be a small hop. Wouldn’t it make sense for enemies that are roughly at eye level to stay visible, so a little bump in the terrain doesn’t make everything invisible?
I understand that we shouldn’t be able to see the top of obstacles, but the game could at least support awareness instead of forcing everyone to constantly play a 360° spin simulator just to avoid being blindsided. Right now, if you don’t keep spinning the camera and jumping to check every tiny hill, you have zero chance to react.
This design makes the game feel like an ADHD simulator, pushing players to focus on unnecessary micromanagement instead of giving a comfortable view of their surroundings—like in LoL or Dota 2, where awareness is easier.
What do you think? Is this really good as it is?
To me, it feels like the main reason tens of thousands of players quit right away. I still enjoy Supervive despite this, but honestly, it’s a mystery why something as basic as terrain bumps and environmental awareness was made so frustrating.
