It's not an ISP issue when every other game and service runs perfectly except for this game
I had big ping issues with world of warcraft 15 years ago, contacted my ISP, provided winMTR records, and within a week they've changed the routing...
nice for sure nothing has changed in 15 years
awsga.ap-east-1.gameservers.awsinfra.theorycraftgames.com run WinMTR for this address for 15 minutes when you get the game where it's bad
Acrivec the goat (I had similar issues with routing early in OB that were solved through similar means)
haven't had a game yet where it's not terrible
Have you tried using network acceleration?
yeah with and without it
I know there are routing bottlenecks for example from Florida, many players complained about that.
They could play during the night, when internet usage was much smaller, and their ping was OK without any packet loss.
However, during day when people were using internet normally, their ping was +100-200 higher and had packet loss.
idk I'm in seattle and never got it to work
network acceleration for me just makes it worse
i also play 60 ping and its fine for me
It's definitely not a catch-all fix. Just an option for some.
and i have that teleport bug if i use network accelaration
