It's been a journey. 1.0 is just on the horizon and everything is changing. Years of hard work all coming to a head is always going to be an extremely stressful and exhausting time, I hope you've been taking care of yourselves.
Supervive is a unique game. It takes the punchy quick combat from games like League of Legends and pumps it up to 11. It takes the Battle Royale genre and twists it to favour all or nothing head to head teamfights and creative power use. To top it off abyss combat is a revolutionary mechanic that is breaking the mold on what a top down arena fighter can be.
There have been ups and downs. Good patches, questionable ones. Universally loved roster additions, controversial ones. But the one thing that shines through most clearly to me is the community that has been built around the bones of what is Supervive. Since I started playing during NextFest I've seen countless names come and go, and plenty who have stuck around. The community that has come together to support this game through it all has some of the most supportive, funny, friendly, insanely cracked, and monumentally dedicated people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.
Communication with the community hasn't always been clear or clean, but you've always done your best to do right by us and keep us in the loop more than most studios would dare. At the end of the day what you have done is created something that isn't just fun or pretty or cool to watch. What you've built is something greater than the sum of its parts. What you've created is something that people come back every day to play, something capable of bringing people together. I think that's beautiful.
