cya!
peace homie, see ya next week
Brall is so hated hes gonna get cried about nomather what for aslong as he is not gutted cos ppl will continue to outplay him standing close range to him
waste movement> brall goes in> wtf i cant even escape him
I don't have to teach a kid to lead their shots to know they will deal considerably more damage with a Barrett M82 than a Winchester rifle
simply not true. i just want balance. i really hate that narrative that ppl just complain bc he has a sword lol.
tru movin on
For next time ill prepare like 50 videos of to support my side xD
Proud of this chat! I actually have not seen a nowhere convo end this quickly in the discord before
Props to y'all
Ehh not even a 5 minute discussion closed cos its not one everyone agrees on instantly
I wanted to give feedback on other stuff 😦
THen do it
No dude it was just gonna go in circles lol. It happens everywhere. Head over to #brall to talk about the character. We gave our feedback and Jess has it, that's the best any of us can do
Shes around daily no ?
weekly, usually saturdays
you can (?)
?? Ur right but it adds perspective at the same time, my perspective is unpolar which was added cos this happened so
them being gone =/= not putting it in here or talking about it in other posts
afaik She still reads the chat when possible to keep caught up so you can still load some feedback here
she already confirmed theyre looking into brall so thats why the convo ended. theres a brall thread rn if u wanna talk abt brall the "dropped the ball on brall" one
She reads it later anyway i think
a lot of people go into the brall channel to complain that they're broken but some of the defenders in that chat really don't know what they're saying
Rip @high kelp , getting ddosed by the spam of brall feedbackers
real tho
I think this brall thread thing is going in circles, please move it to the circle thread
ribbit
Couldn't chime in today, was busy scrimming
screaming > scrimming
have fun in ya games, and thanks for chatting! always love to talk
❤️
Thank you to everyone in here for being such positive parts of the community. Genuinely I appreciate any interactions with you guys and you make the community a better place for being here
idk I'm just feelin it lol. First time I've ever engaged with a game's community, nevermind really took part in discussions about it and you guys have been nothing but welcoming and helped pull me out of that shell
so I wanted to let you guys know you are appreciated
- global shop nerfs are good.
- I'm glad abyss is back 🥰, still think it could straight up be a red power at times but biased
- (more AP Scaling) KP + blink combo + AND his new DMG + dash spam build made me get off the other day lol
- wolf emote 🐺
- would love insight on devs thoughts on the whole legend ranked experience right now. (solo queueing impossible due to every other legend 4 stacking, thus you go 4 stack, problem worsens, repeat) (this one is decreasing my playtime even more than any balance issues)
oh, and the baby carrot emote is wild and caught me off guard when I saw it. its good
awwwooooooooooooooo
AWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
AWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (pls) 🐺
see. now wolf emote spam is something I can get behind in here
I'm also curious as to y'alls thoughts on reducing the amount of teams per game to improve q times while tightening the starting zone to compensate? An idea I've seen floated around for a while
I think it could be worth exploring
i genuinely NEED to howl with my pack
how much are u thinking?
I have no idea lmao. At least 2 to start p conservatively, but playtests could/should be done to figure out where the happy medium is
Might also lead to slightly shorter games which I would totally vibe with. Outside of things like farming, random items, third parties, the length of br games is one of my biggest turn-offs that keeps me arena majority.
games WERE 32 players way back in pre-pre-pre-pre-pre-pre alpha
i'm excited to see how the closed playtest shakes out
I promised myself I wouldn't give too much feedback anymore, so I can detach from the whole process, but I can't help myself sometimes, so I'm gonna add a couple of things.
- I agree universal shop nerfs are good.
- I'm looking forward to potential gold changes, sounds interesting.
- I think the lack of 1vX potential in the game probably stems from character designs rather than a system, so I'm intrigued but frightened at the prospect of giving everyone endless reaper.
- 🍕 emote.
- I think the recent changes to xp and shops is an overall plus. I like having consistent inventories for shops, so I can strategize around which shops sell what and how I can play around specific powers, and I like that the game seems to have a more well outlined sequence of phases to the game now. Before the xp changes, it was still "the optimal way" in my opinion, to play for powers and camps and position over just running down teams over and over, but I am also approaching it from a scrim perspective, not a pubs perspective.
P.S. Also, I'm not the most familiar with Apex, but from what I know, it seems to have a similar "gathering phase" at the beginning where teams are looting up, getting their stuff, and getting ready to rotate into circle, and then the game proceeds from there. I think a similar style would benefit SV where early fights should be risky but lucrative.
some thoughts I've had in my time playing the latest patch
- Global shop nerfs good. Shipping and handeling is EXPENSIVE and Kobyashi is bleeding dry from doing the service for free!!!!
- I liked the old level system with hard caps because it gave advantages to distinct objectives and farming wasn't meaningless early because upgrading equips is important, but I think the new level system has the potential to be better. The current late game scaling and the amount of farming required at the beginning of the game feel bad but can be tuned. In particular playing aggressively and then running into a level 7 team that took no risk farming to ults feels bad.
- Giving everyone endless reaper will have varying effects on each hunter so I'm sure it won't be balanced on the first pass but could be fun and add more risk to having an advantage in a fight (can't all just throw our bodies at the last guy until he dies). In particular hunters like Jin and Ghost who have abilities that reset on knock already will need to be looked at
emote- I very much would appreciate reading complete patch notes with every change, including all the little minor tweaks and bug fixes.
I made a post in the creator discord about it, but tldr for Apex progression/power gain starts really fast, then slows down significantly or has diminishing returns as you get stronger/collect more resources, which makes it almost impossible to build overbearing leads. PvP is the only way to do it, but you need to do like 5x the fighting of someone else order to do that, so it’s very uncommon to leapfrog people in progression. So realistically you can only really get a meaningful lead of about 10-20% in terms of weapons/equipment at any given point in the game.
Cheers for the input!
Some levelups (the small ones) feel unrewarding/ "eh"
Voids Q is 10% dmg increase, twice.
Voids ult is -5 cd twice
And that makes the big one worth less
That being said, void is incredibly good rn
Is the void bug still here after the patch?

Is it basically the Oath double blade Rampage combo? Oath can keep Rampage at perma max stacks cause his Shield procs it. Then he does Ulti > Shield Bash > Dash4 > Shield Bash. It knocks the target through all 3 sections of the ulti, so it does full damage and oneshots the target. That was before lvl-cap patch, so that burst combo probably got stronger now.
yea basically. i think even with hybrid the dmg is nuts still too. and usually ppl arent always full hp in a fight so if u are like 70% hp and an oath does that u are dead.
and a lot of the times the follow up isnt that important just shield bash into hammer throws lol
which bug (someone talked about it before in here too)
For my sanity I will not elaborate further

I also would love insight of some behind the scenes intent from TC regarding an intentional (?) lack of marketing right now for the game
many of us have attributed it to being on purpose since the initial player push was so bad on retention for open beta. does TC have a big plan for marketing once they are confident the game is in a better state for player retention?
I think this and many related questions is going through every top players mind as it feels a lot of our concerns aren't being addressed. but I get why they aren't being prioritized as much as fundamental game design / big swings (again retention etc etc)
tldr obviously the player count is low. TC is probably not pushing for it to go higher right now because of OB's failure. is this accurate? and if so is TC confident that you'll be able to get the successful boom in players down the line when "the game is ready"?
Check the latest patchnotes, they are doing something like that in a month
Finally: a request we’ve heard from many of you is to get a sort of “state of the game” fireside chat to hear about where SUPERVIVE is heading in the long-term. Heard! We’re thinking about this internally as well, but would like to request a little time as we cook, iterate, and learn for the future. Maybe give us a month or so.
ah, this. got it
So this is just my current off the cuff take, I'm not an expert and I'm sure there are people with different perspectives, but given how leveling works and the lack of a cap, either creep camps need to respawn faster or, more ideally, other actions need to give better exp
Imo
I hope they don’t do marketing until they actually have good tutorials and such, I think that was the bigger issue of the game more then even the current state, I fear if those things are still not there the same thing will happen again
I know this is a longshot - But any TC insight on the plans for particle effects on Legendary Luxe skins?
I've heard in the past that there were some visual clarity concerns; are these being redone?
Can we select our preferred color in the meantime? (Out of variants available to that skin)
Hard to justify the premium chroma when the chromas you have to purchase to even get there technically have more features than the premium one
Hiya,
There has been word in the past on this.
There are planned improvements for visual clarity for all effects in the game, although they're slowly rolling out on a character by character basis, and continually being re-evaluated to balance cosmetics against competitive integrity.
I don't believe there are any planned changes to what you can currently acquire with a purchase, you'll have to unlock the variant you want specifically.
I don't think there's a guarantee that current luxe skins will get more vfx changes, but they might see visual upgrades as they get more confident with the cosmetics system
just add an option to show it but inly for u and not for enemies? lol
Hi all.
Two notes:
- I’ll pull these questions into the next megathread..for the next patch.
- Going to move our usual weekend catch-up to Patch Day, this Wednesday.
See you then.
4 days until Crysta?
YESH
^
GET THIS MOBILE SHIT OFF MY SCREEN HOW MANY YELLOW SPARKS DO I NEED BLINKING AT MY FACE
:/
hard agree also why does the exclamation mark on the progression/battlepass tab not go away :/
At about what a clock will the talk be
Why does brall still have that knockback on his auto.. its so unfun to play against.
Hard to repair armour, feels like gold per camp is less than before, so gold is hard to come by for anything besides upgrading items.
Why did bishop get a nerf on her ult? I dont think that was needed. She need qol changes, not actual buffs and nerfs...
Besides that, loving the pacing and the rest of the changes. Feels good.
