Niche knowledge about the game.

With how many things in the game without properly introduced to the player. I think there are many niche knowledge that would actually improve your gameplay just by knowing it. So I wanted to share some of it. You could also give your own niche tips under this post.

1: The number on the shield icon during drop actually provided intel of how many gold armor will spawn in that area. As the picture said 4. You will 100% find 4 gold armors in this location.

2: The heart always spawns a gold chest. Alongside the mod that spawns in High Mountain.

3: The throwing axe and iron fist power interact with any trees. Including the one that spawns by the player. AKA money trees and tree prison.

4: Brush boar instantly charged if the user is inside of a bush. So using ghillie suit before using brush boar. The boar would just charge instantly.

You can gain hight by dropping until you’re about to die then gliding creating a sling shot effect letting you get over map terrain you typically can’t

^ this also allows you to heal in mid-air as you get enough consecutive air time if timed correctly to channel a brew before needing to glide again, do not attempt this in combat however as it requires a full second of gliding to set up

Pressing spacebar just as you touch a rail and holding it pressed gives you a speedboost on the rail. Letting it go again makes you jump off the rail and makes you jump higher as well.

You can start holding jump at any point on the rail or before you land on it. I do not think it has to be as you touch it.

If you and an enemy are on even ground, the apex of your jump has your collision hitbox just barely touch theirs. Knowing this, using jump then a Grappling Hook on said enemy allows you to fly over them instead of stopping at where they are.

Bushwhacker triggers if you activate then deactivate Ghillie Suit or Tree Disguise

Health packs give a slight upward momentum if you collide with them while airborne. You can use this to extend the distance of your dash and it synergizes well with abilities that lower your gravity such as celeste dash. With good placement you can throw a health pack in front of yourself and catch it midair over the abyss to cross gaps you otherwise couldnt without gliding, etc.
