So i'm just wondering what the point of the rank is, when you literally queu up against every possible rank there is in this game. Same for teammates, ofc.
Isn´t it supposed to dictate the match quality of the game by having a certain rank and ideally play with/against people on the same skill level?

Currently the (higher) rank is just a result of grinding alot. Not respresenting the skill-level, right?
I personally prefer having a certain quality of games by people around the same skill level.

Imo your point regarding representing skill level only applies at masters+ (where the ante is high enough to impact whether you climb or not)
But yeah kinda bad when you don't get matched into the same rank/skill level/whatever metric we're using

i completly agree to this, but imo, they shouldnt have released a rank system then.

How would it kill the game? People like you wouldn't play unless it had a competitive/ranked mode anyways and the only people that might get turned off by a bad rank system are the players that wouldn't be here at ALL to begin with if the game only had unranked queues
