I might be a bit biased as a Void main, but it has a 1 second cast time, roots me in place if I’m on the ground when I cast it, has melee cast range, and has enough of a telegraph that people usually stun me out of the cast or just walk out of the AOE.
It's strong, but Void lacks mobility ( among other things) so you should be able to see it him coming at you and play around it ?
(unless power uses like blink or invisibility that can surprise you)
The actual AOE of the (unempowered) ult is about as big as the cast range, so Void has to be pretty darn close.
It will always feel broken as a new player because you’re still thinking to react to it. And you’ve got a lot to think about.
It becomes fluid to react to with time
You get used to it. I remember back when I thought it was kinda OP too, it passes with experience
Void ult also achieves nothing on its own, since it only deals 3 damage a tick. It’s literally just a combo enabler.
Though I can understand if the argument is that 3.5 seconds is too long, because getting stunned for that long is pretty un-fun.
i never noticed him casting his ult i just kinda got there and went 100-0
The AOE is visible for the entire cast time and his big purple hands also spin around in the circle
I’ll get a clip of it when I’m back at my computer, unless someone posts it before then. Might help knowing what to look for.
