Hi, we appreciate the feedback and we’re sorry we don’t have servers in Oceania at this time! As a small independent company (that is not yet profitable) we have to make very specific bets with our time, money, and efforts, and we have to pick our battles carefully and tackle them step-by-step.

New regional servers have a minimum population requirement that we aren’t sure we can hit in every region. OCE is an especially tough problem because, well, it’s so far away from everywhere else - queue health is the biggest concern for us here and we’ve seen much bigger games from much bigger studios struggle to keep populations healthy.

If we can hit sustainability and profitability through our initial launch, we’re absolutely open to exploring more regional options - although the population concern is still very real - but just to explain how we make decisions, even if it’s not the one you want.

Understand this isn’t the answer you want and it’s frustrating to play on high ping - but we want to be honest!

Honestly I think what could help is even a poll for oce players asking if they would be OK with longer queues but better ping, or if they are open to the idea of oce queues opening during peak time only.

hahaa i have only played shiv then shrike if someone else picked her back in my first playtest, played kingpin last night cause i jsut got sick of the packetloss and wowies, game actually felt fun hahahahaha, idk how tf you play jin though i think hes the worst character on ping

Why shouldn't people bash the devs though they are doing a disservice to the oce playerbase and I believe they should receive backlash, praising the devs as someone from oce is insane to me why should I say yeah I understand why there are no servers in my region thank you for making a product I can't consume when I believe it's inexcusable?

But also, Anti. Like genuinely. The reason games die off for OCE, is simply because they don't have OCE Servers on release, the already small playerbase of OCE will play it and discard it, before we even get servers. It's been a known fact if you want our region in your game you give us servers as soon as you can. OCE servers aren't a hard thing, let alone that expensive to run, they have enough funding to do so.

I will say despite the AI Art and trolling, I get where their coming from. I don't condone that behaviour, but OCE Servers. Truly will be a good next step after closed beta, I don't expect it now, but if it's not on full release they'll lose an entire region.

It's a free to play game, the fact that it doesn't have OCE servers, is mildly dissapointing, nothing less. Lol. If the game is big enough, it will have them eventually.

Do I want them, 100%. But they aren't gonna be here tomorrow. We have no clue how Theorycrafts work structure, roadmaps and devs work. Which is unfortunate, that there's no transparency on that either, but life is full of dissapointment. Can't do much about it, except wait.

But Im more on your side than anything else, I think they have ample room for OCE servers and should have them. Battlerite had them pretty darn quickly, god I miss that game. So I cant realistically think of a reason why OCE doesnt have a server.
