Cannot Speak in Discord while game is in focus

I have a Corsair Virtuoso XT headset and when I am tabbed into the game I cannot talk in Discord but am able to hear others in Discord. When I use the in-game voice chat to work around this issue I just sound like a robot. Any thoughts?

Can confirm that his mic sounds perfectly fine when out of game ^

It works and fixes itself when I am in windowed mode but not full screened or windowed full screen. It goes back to messing up my microphone.

Similar issue. I can hear. mic test works, im not muted, but no one can hear me in discord. But I can be heard in game

Does it also occur when you disable voice chat in game?

Just to elaborate as well (he's afk) but we tried running disc in admin, reinstalling the game, disable fullscreen optimization, switching mic input/trying nvidia broadcast and nothing worked. Could only play in windowed mode.

i just reported this as a bug
i have the same headset, i had the same issue
the workaround i found is to disable nvidia broadcast technologies in icue

Been doing some investigation on some audio issues. By any chance do you folks have Sonic Studio or Nahimic installed? Might've come preinstalled with your machine

same headset, same issue, and disabling nvidia in icue solved it so far
