Infinite install loading

Tried all of the fixes on the link provided in the support channel, but cant install the game still. Cant click on install it loads infinitely

i had this problem when i tried to switch drives, just ended up restarting the launcher and installing it on my ssd

Yes, I already did, I have powershell 7 and it keeps throwing me an error. no problem

Well all my problems were solved when I ran the launcher with Admin permissions

For some reason it does not have access to read/write disc

And with admin rights everything works perfectly

I realize that this will not be fixed this playtest or probably even by the next one or two. But is this going to be fixed potentially in the future at least near open betas or release time? Rather than be upset now I just want to make sure for when the game is out I am able to play it.

I seem to have an Infinite install loop

Had the same issue, just select options and hit uninstall. Reload the launcher and install.

@storm hill Sadly I did that it won't let me hit the options button for some reason it shows an 🚫 over it so I Uninstalled it through my computer a different way reinstalled it and I ended up stuck in infinite install again

Unfortunately running into this issue as well. Reinstalled Powershell, double checked to ensure the path is set correctly. Did a reinstall of the launcher mutliple times and ran as admin. No luck

Was anyone able to install Loki, both the game and the launcher, straight in C:/folder? When I try to do so I run into the infinite install loading issue, however if I use default install locations for both launcher and game it installs smoothly. Not a big deal but for the sake of organization I would love to have them on C:/
PS: I have powershell and path properly installed, also tried to run as admin

Try restarting the launcher (close from taskbar) after changing the default directory, believe it's a similar bug with determining the available disk space

Tried this among other things such as cleaning registry and full clean install, changing permissions, other folder locations, etc.. but no luck for now I'll keep it on the default folder location since the playtest starts in a few hours, but if you have any other ideas please let me know! Thank you

good evening, I am trying to install the game as I just recieved a key but its just loading and loading. I tried to change the install from C to my D drive dont know need help please!

Try restarting your launcher by closing it from the taskbar by right clicking the icon and exiting the launching again

There is a potential fix getting released in the next week or so, will come back to this closer to our next playtest to verify.

A fix to how available disk space is read has been released in the latest version of the Theorycraft Launcher (v0.15.31). If you've run into this issue in the past, you should be able to install now. If you still have issues, let me know!
