i wasn't sure what to do with the plates on the legs. They looked kinda dull when they were pure light blue, but the dark blue patches look kinda off

Love this! Maybe a black metal could replicate the dark nature of pixel art outlines?

the armor itself doesn't have black metal though, and outlines don't translate to 3D
