#sonnet 4.5 consumed request

Hi @distant vessel. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base.
I'm sorry, but the knowledge sources do not mention a "Claude 4.5 Sonnet" model—only "Claude 4 Sonnet" and other versions like "Claude 3.5 Sonnet" and "Claude Opus 4.1" are referenced. There is no information about the existence of a "Claude 4.5 Sonnet" model or its request consumption in Warp.
For request consumption, the documentation states that larger, more advanced models (like Claude Opus 4.1 and Claude Sonnet 4) generally consume more requests than smaller models, but it does not provide a direct comparison between "Claude 4 Sonnet" and "Claude 4.5 Sonnet" (which is not listed as a supported model) or specify if their request pricing would be the same. If you are referring to a future or unreleased model, there is no information available in the current knowledge sources to answer your question definitively How are Warp AI requests calculated?.
If you need details about supported models and their request consumption, please refer to the official model list and documentation in Warp.
Note: you can ask me a follow up question by @ mentioning me again :speech_balloon:
@distant vessel Kapa.ai is still learning and improving, please let me know how I did by reacting below.
typically the newer models are more expensive when it comes to requests
Why? It has the exact same pricing as 4! So I have high doubts about this and also would be very unpleasant to charge it differently…
honestly im not 100% sure, but thats the general rule. If its the same API pricing as sonnet 4 then we maynot charge more ai requests for the model, we may replace 4 with 4.5 at some point
Hello sir Danny, Can u double check? To make it clear
.
I hope Claude sonnet 4.5 in warp has same exact "request price" to/with sonnet 4
warp not use request base, but use token base fyi. So if you use 1 request with latest model like sonnet 4.5 then your "request" limit will burn out
yes exactly, i burned my Turbo plan like in one go, had to move away from Warp to use another tools
This tool is trap
thats the general rule
Where is this rule located at? Can we read?
why is a trap? i subscribe now to business, an di thing to upgrade on the lightspeed .... lightspeed offer more good quality ? more speed? i need more speed tool, i can pay more, but develop more faster
its just a name, its not faster.
For developers, Warp is a highly effective tool. As a case in point, it recently detected a crypt mnr on my VPS that had been operating unnoticed for nearly five months. This demonstrates that its value certainly justifies the cost.
Make a rule, to have warp measure potential token use based on queries and installation etc.
Then have it automatically provide the commands for use with your usual command prompt.
Personally for my project Sonnet 4 was more than suitable, now i just need to know which model i can use to get the most work done out of my Turbo credits. Maybe Sonnet 4.5 is the obvious answer, but maybe not? How can i find out?
Claude Opus 4.1 🗿
