I set up little 9x9 fishing holes (11x11 if you count the walkspace around it) in my new world in preparation for 1.0, with stuff from my prior world. I set one up for each type of liquid with different fish, aside from a Desert Oasis, since I believe that much is locked to specific biome.

For reference, the third is Mold Water. I just didn't want to deal with actual mold blocks, so I used the Azeos' Wilderness block palette.
And the last one is normal water.
Since when did the Hive Asid water and Azeos water become green?
Are you using green glass tils?
The Azeos water is mold water, just didn't want to use mold blocks.
The acid water has always been green though iirc
Ohh okay
The hive acid water has never been green cuz it is always been brown-ish yellow how I see it but I don't understand what you mean it's always been green.
It's like a brown/yellow/orange colour, but it depends on the lighting
Thank you for clearing that out.
Because their character has blue light on, it's making the water green
Ohh that makes more sense.
I used plain stone with mold walls, personally - it comes off as roughly the same visual effect without the debuff
likewise, I used clay floor for the Sunken Sea hole, to avoid any spawning
they don't spawn on ocean floor outside of the sunken sea biome, so as long as your base isn't in the sunken sea, crabs and tentacles won't spawn
oh good to know!
if I cover the entire floor with glass, it will also prevent spawn, is that correct?
