My Core Base! (in-game view with Map guide)

Finally...after stitching together 200 screenshots, here's how my base looks! (I desperately wish for a screenshot mode in 1.0 now, please devs? 🥺 )

Things will probably be redecorated in the future because a builder's job is never over, but I'm really happy with it and excited to move onto my next project!

(also there was no way I could get the seasons in, the image file was already so large.)

edit: I used World Snapshot Mod for easy UI toggling and Photoshop to compile my images since the mod can't stitch screenshots together at this time.

OOOOH I saw the second one on Twitter! I made a comment about it on my stream this morning about how I wanted to explore & run around there.

Also how many hours did that take you to do? From designing to execution?

Thank you! It’s fun to walk around but it’s so easy to get distracted in because of the little chores, haha.

The total amount of time is a bit tricky for me to recall, but I estimate at least 100 hours split between three different weeks.

Besides the Forge, Wood Farm, and Pet rooms, everything else was “freehanded.” I didn’t have a set plan for the others and just went with the flow 😊

My goodness that's a lot of hours for a project that big! I would get lost exploring your world & yes also distracted looking at every single thing like it was a museum!

Sometimes the best designs just come as you wing it!

Haha yeahhh, I would have saved more time if I used Placement+ but I was determined to have a vanilla build 😅

How does one get to clearing the whole map like that? Insane! Probably one of the nicest bases I've ever seen

Thank you! And luckily it’s only the Dirt biome, which is fairly quick to terraform with endgame gear

The longest part was replacing the blocks so I do not recommend checkerboard patterns 😆
