#topic: make techniques more visually appealing with the most graphical flair to compensate for no cv

reason: the reason techs can't have cv is understandable, but then they should be compensated for that, by having the best and most particle effects, visual flair, and all the possible bells and whistles (controlled by graphic settings in the options menu). they should stand out above all other attacks in the game, to be special and feel special, since they cannot have cv, which drastically limits the user's ability to creatively express themselves or color match outfits properly.

why: it's only fair to compensate techniques in this way, so that they look and feel so special that nobody ever feels even the slightest need, wish, or desire to be able to alter or modify their appearance

additional: as a side note, since cv cannot be done, it would be nice if possibly, we had options to customize the non-color aspect of techs, for example, by making a few flowers or cherry blossoms float around either us or the tech when casting a tech. other options include shadowy tendrils, light sparkles, the old fearless attitude swirl effect, element color matching stars, flames, or glow that bathes the character, and so forth. these could also be sold as AC scratch items or scratch count bonuses.

#

techniques deserve to be so visually stunning that playing the game becomes difficult due to your jaw dropping in amazement every time a tech is cast.

#

also the same applies for wand photonic furies and rod attack impacts btw

#

and compound techs

#

and boots elemental set

#

and talis everything

#

and wand element pursuit

#

basically anything elemental that cannot be CVd

hey, hey, I'd like if techs were more stunning (even if some of them aren't bad)
But you can't argue when the best animation in the game right now is formeglion.
I guess it's still fine, I just think too much animations may make techniques hard to parse.
Or you know, we almost got megid type 2 to work with cv, partially, so that could also be a thing

Imean I’ma be honest
There’s 2 ways to look at this LOL
1.) Yea techs are kinda rough since there’s no way to change their colour or anything, CVs don’t work
But on the other hand
2.) It might always be the same colours but you’ve practically got a rainbow CV on at all times considering your attacks can be green red blue dark purple yellow lilac which arguably is cooler than being locked to every attack being only 1 colour at a time

#

Yes it would be nice if there was a bit more visual customisation available but to say they should be above everything else because they don’t change colour when technically you already have 5 and a half colours at once feels a bit… not greedy but- unappreciative? In a sense

#

I’d be all for camos being able to tint / change the colour / visuals of attacks slightly though

#

-# Also personally I agree formeglion is pretty much the best looking animation attack in the game run

Well, that's also not entirely true, because it's not like you pick the techniques you like, you are tracked into the enemy weaknesses.
So sure, you have 6 colors, but it's been around 2 years since we see much green or (light?) purple/pink, for example beside I think one or two ltqs

i mean

#

i can argue that other classes can gain all the cv they want by swapping camos

#

and the point about being unable to color code your fashion remains

#

cos its difficult/tedious to swap outfits nonstop in combat

#

and what if we have a favorite outfit

#

it cant be 6 different colors

#

other classes can pick their favorite color and match it to a cv

#

and have it be done

#

so yeah i do actually think techs deserve something special to compensate

#

it doesnt necessarily have to be as huge as i implied in the original post, but i want something
