#Monitor logs without Netdata Cloud

Hi, @dense night. It is not possible. Viewing logs require Cloud connection. See https://learn.netdata.cloud/docs/top-monitoring-netdata-functions.
How disappointing. I think that this is inherently unfriendly design for self hosting and hope to see it change in the future. I understand the principle of doing it for security, but the end user should ultimately have control over that. Thanks for the response!
@gentle valve On a related note, I'm now trying to connect to the cloud and it seems like claiming my nodes isn't quite working. I paste in the correct private session key and the claim button simply does...nothing. Interestingly it also shows that "All nodes" is the only option when it comes to selecting which nodes for which room
My current setup has just two nodes, one of which is the parent and the other is the child
Based on the provided information I can only suggest you to check the logs
The console in my browser says that it's getting a 400 response from http://<my-nodes-ip>:<port>/api/v3/claim?key=<session-key>&rooms=<room-id>&token=<claim-token>&url=<https://app.netdata.cloud>
