For no apparent reason 2 parent nodes went offline.
The nodes themselves functioned fine and the netdata gent simply needed to be restarted.
Nevertheless this was really worrying, because no unreachable alert was received in APP, slack or email.

can you confirm if you have under your User Settings > Notifications the "All Alerts and unreachable" for the rooms you want that?

yes, thank you, but that isn't the issue. Servers are vanishing and shown as offline, while they are in fact running flawlessly.
right now I am restarting 4 netdata agents, just to get them shown as online again.
The servers are functioning without any issues..

...and yes the notification settings are correct, but the notification settings aren't the culprit here.
