So are you using netdata cloud?
Yep
Ok so, what you can do is just disable the local dashboard
How?
Did you already locate the netdata.conf?
Wait, if I disable it no one can access it except Netdata?
And yeah, /etc/netdata/netdata.conf
if you disable it the dashboard located at :19999 and the api will be disabled, the only way to access your graphs etc. would be through the cloud
Ah, so how do I disable it?
There should be a section called [web], if you put mode on none it is disabled
ah ok
now how do i setup discord monitoring?
So you dont have a file called health_alarm_notify.conf?
If you just run the command and paste the discord part in it, it should be working, i just checked on my server without notifications and i also dont have the file there
Is this located at /etc/netdata/health_alarm_notify.conf?
it should be ye, just create it
(@fathom yoke is this correct? (tldr; setting up discord ntoifications but no default file))
How can I test it works?
lol what-
still no alerts...
lol even benchmarking RAM and no alerts
- discord notification configuration: https://learn.netdata.cloud/docs/agent/health/notifications/discord
- test alerts: https://learn.netdata.cloud/docs/agent/health/notifications/alerta#test-alarms
bash: /opt/netdata/netdata-plugins/plugins.d/alarm-notify.sh: No such file or directory
oh nvm they r coming through
just a bit delayed- haha.
Some alerts has configured delay (https://learn.netdata.cloud/docs/agent/health/reference#alarm-line-delay)
I see...
This is insane.
I have never noticed how in-depth netdata is.
Already getting alerts that I was never aware of. This is great.
Thank you to the team who contributed to this.
any plugins to add more detections? ๐
What do you exactly mean by this?
