Managing large empires?

Can anyone explain how to manage large empires without getting bored?

Usually when I get big, I do pick fights with big or even bigger players. Might as well.

i like to try to find other players that will do over-night runs and help them out as well. Larger empires tend to involve having kiomet run whilst sleeping so can resume later, so having someone else doing the same and provide you a reliable border is great. After all, major goal for overnight is either great defensive lines or to have so much land between your king and all your dangerous borders that you will most likely survive

use strategies to destroy your opponents with less number of troops & swift maneuvers to take him out ASAP. Keep some troops near your king or you can keep in middle to avoid encirclement.
