SBGA — Softbear Games Awards

The Softbear Games Awards (SBGA) is the newest community-driven, unofficial, awards platform for Softbear Games, made for recognizing excellence, dedication, and impact across the entire community.

Award Categories:

  1. Moderation Awards

  2. Game Awards

  3. Clan Awards

  4. Community Project Awards

  5. Country Awards

SBGA is based off of the Softbear Games Community and is connected with the SGCS (owned by @tender musk) and the ACE (Allied Clans Empire).

How the Awards Work:
SBGA operates on a quarterly cycle lasting three months.
Nominations are open for two months. You may nominate yourself, or be nominated by someone else.
Anyone nominated becomes a nominee for the quarter.
Voting lasts one month, where the community decides the winners.

Yearly Awards
At the end of the year, SBGA transitions from quarterly awards to Yearly Nominations and Voting, recognizing the best contributors, games, clans, projects, and countries of the entire year.

Winners will recieve a SGCS role and recognition in the Softbear Games community.

We’re introducing an updated monthly schedule for the SoftBear Games Awards. This replaces the previous format
(Months 1–2: Nominations | Month 3: Voting).

📅 New Timeline

🗓️ Month 1 – Nominations
Community members submit nominations for games and creators.

🗓️ Month 2 – Campaigning
Approved nominees may promote their entries and engage with the community.

🗓️ Month 3 – Voting
The community votes, and winners are determined.

📣 Campaigning Rules

Common Rules

Be respectful at all times

No harassment, hate speech, or personal attacks

Follow all Discord and server rules

Uncommon / Specific Rules

❌ Speaking ill of, insulting, or undermining other nominees is not allowed

❌ False claims or misinformation about other entries are prohibited

✅ Promote your own work without targeting others

Failure to follow these rules may result in campaign disqualification.
