We need to bring back gauss in netquel build mode (and netquel in general). Right now long lasers are op and have no counter with them dissolving missiles. Gauss used to be a great way to balance out lazers as they could penetrate through them but now that gauss is out of netquel there is no way to stop someone with a fast pointy lazer ship.

is it planned to be added back in at least?
maybe with a glowy affect and slower speed
if we figure out how to fix the problem
reducing the range a lot would help with random collateral damage
ye the problem right now is with people with pointy lazer ships (max 25) being unkillable as drills are too slow to get in close and missiles getting dissolved
I feel like pointy lazer isn't op, it just needs another weapon to balance it out
What about adding mirrors? That would be funni
