It becomes nearly impossible to play the game at all if there is 1 or 2 dominant teams in the game. They can just rotate through all 3 servers, sweep anyone mid tier before they can get higher, and then repeat. Solo players shouldn't lose as much when their ships are destroyed compared to teams. Teams make the game super unfun because they can become unstoppable at a certain point.

any concrete ideas for how to do this?
Perhaps make another level of servers for teams? similar to the entry vs normal level? or make a third tier for anyone beyond a certain ship level.
making a third tier is an option (then the second tier would be 1-12 not 1-infinity)
maybe max team size should be tier-dependent
that would also be a good idea
or perhaps lower the amount of points lost when the score of the team/player who killed you is way more, like 5x or 10x more
not sure if teams are motivated to spawnkill by score, or if taking away that motivation would change their behavior 🤔
it may be difficult to stop teams from spawnkilling, but mitigating the damage to the person being spawnkilled could work better
i have some ideas
-bigger field of view
-can stay same tier for higher level
-2x xp multiplier
it would also be nice if botnets were forced to a higher tier based off their combined level instead of just the leaders
Removing the 3 servers has made this game even more new player un-friendly, as a large team can now effectively dominate the whole game and there's nowhere someone can run to grow slowly
2x Xperia would be a bit overpowered
just a buff then, like 1.5 would be great
it was necessary, but temporary, to test the update. turns out the update caused serveral server crashes, which I've hopefully now fixed. if it is stable for a while, will probably return to more servers.
