I was just wondering what Kiomet is based off, at first I thought it was modern chess, but as I started playing the game, it was more like the roblox game "Rise of Nations", which has similar mechanics and features to Kiomet, but on a globe, and last time I checked, Rise of Nations had 3.1K CCU (Concurrent users) playing.

Kiomet has several sources of inspiration:

  • Subterfuge (mobile game)
  • Stellaris (desktop game)
  • Risk (board game)
  • Defcon (desktop game)
  • Territorial.io (web game)

I feel like infinite play style can become boring very fast. After an hour or so it gets mandain, you just redirect your supply chains trying to conquer more land than you are loosing

#

Territorial.io is superior in that matter because it has start and end, and people are in same conditions at the beginning, not loke stating near some colossus without any chance to survive if he decides to decimate you

not exactly, 52,000 points doesn't necessisarily equal 52,000 towers. A number of towers are worth more (cities are worth 5)
