Why?! WHY DK?! Why does this happen? Why do you make it hard for the average person to make live bets? Why do you lock players THAT ARENT EVEN ON THE FIELD. ITS A TV COMMERCIAL AND THE ENTIRE GAME IS LOCKED?! WHY?! WHEN AND HOW ELSE CAN WE MAKE LIVE BETS?! DURING THE DRIVE WHEN YOU LOCK PLAYERS OR DURING A TV COMMERCIAL WHEN YOU LOCK PLAYERS. Understand how much this angers the average person who works all day. And when I finally have time to log into DK YOU LOCK EVERY PLAYER PREVENTING ME FROM MAKING A BET. Nah thats not even the problem I get if its a live drive. ITS A TV COMMERCIAL BREAK. there's absolutely no reason to lock players DURING A TV COMMERCIAL WHEN PEOPLE HAVE TIME TO MAKE A BET. they clearly want to make it hard for people to make live bets

Jokes aside (sort of) that’s just a component of live betting, props will lock/unlock frequently throughout the game.

Yeah it can be frustrating but it is what it is. Would recommend submitting slips on a computer, it is easier that way

I absolutely get that but I think the main people keep trying to brush off is that I was trying to make a live bet during a TV COMMERCIAL. I would understand its a live drive. Cool I cant be on the offensive team. But NO ONE was on the field. NO players were playing. It was a TV COMMERCIAL for a kickoff thats where I draw the line and have an issue. Cause at that point youre just trying to make sure people can't make a live bet at the best time.

They do not benefit from certain bets being made since Pick6 is a player vs player model, not a player vs the House model.

You have to think that commercial breaks are when they see the most bets being made.

A large group of people betting the same prop will cause that pick’s odds to shift, therefore they have to temporarily lock the pick and reopen it. That is likely what is happening during commercial breaks

I don’t work for DK so I can only speculate. But that seems to be what is occurring

If $5,000 is put on “X” player to go over 53.5 yards, they will lock it and unlock it again at a higher yardage line

But all of them?! every player? Nah thats just messing with people now. Because honestly WHEN should I make a live bet? Im genuinely asking. If I can't make a bet during. TV commercial when NO ONE IS ON THE FIELD. Then when? During a live drive? When the offensive team can't even be bet on? Its just sad man. Because I've use other apps like Fanatics and they dont do this

Locking every single player is not because every person is getting bets now. Thats just ridiculous. At that point just ban live betting if they are that concerned

You are being hyperbolic. As someone who is avidly using live betting on Pick6, I have yet to see a time where every player is locked for more than 15-20 seconds at a time

No worries, from a user standpoint seeing locked picks can be frustrating.

Those Rec/Rush TDs multipliers can be wonky at times, and to your point they do lock for longer durations at times in comparison to other props.

The Passing, Receiving, and Rushing yard props will be your best bets during commercial breaks if the rush/rec TDs are locked.

Thanks man, honestly im just a regular dude that works 9-5. I had a small free time before I went home to be more busy with the family and its little things like that where I get really frustrated. Sometimes I just have a small gap to make a little bet. Locking every player when I have little time. I waited and waited till I couldn't wait anymore and just had to call it but I was upset that everyone was locked during a TV commercial. I really thought that was the best time to make a live bet

I've went thru this with them for 3 nba seasons. They will lock a players props and not unlock it. Super frustrating especially when your trying to hedge. Either offer a live line or dont
