#QUEUE FOR CRAFTING

100% disagree on this one. We need LESS queues in RM. We don't need a queue for every single action on RM.
We clearly need a queue for the idea hub
Lol right!!
The fact that red users aren't trusted enough to post images, but can contribute here really cracks me up.
Many are frustrated on PGA RM & Lego crafts and not being able to craft and this was an attempt at a solution...
I understand that. But what you probably aren't considering is how many accounts try to flip those cards and don't even play. And how many more come out of the woodwork when any skill or dedication to getting the crafts is removed.
The solution isn't yet another queue (which wastes our time, and takes any excitement out of the crafting process). The solution is something that involves having an experience level in the game / appropriate game play history / or established stake in the game.
I think the skill should be in the cards you put in your lineup, and not how fast you can click on buttons. Having the craft based on experience level or game history is interesting, but what would you base it on? You can only craft a LEGO if you played in a LEGO contest?
We have suggested several things, like an experience badge for the sport, FS minimum, having played in that tier contest the prior week, etc etc.
There are ways to make it more equitable. But the idea (which may or may not be what you are getting at) that anyone should be able to participate at any tier with equal chance of getting the craft, just because they joined the game is flawed IMHO.
And doing it by creating more queues, which take a min of 30 minutes each to setup and would stretch 20 minutes of weekly crafting in some sports to 3 hours, is a ridiculous solution.
I guess the restricted user model would lessen competition on the recipes, but could also be a deterrent to those trying to break into next level up. Maybe a change to the current queue system would create a fix? Beleive me, I'm not a fan of sitting in queues either, but I'm just looking for a fair solution to have a shot to use tokens purchased in order to craft. I think larger quantities released at one time would also help this. Do core/rare weekly at current levels, do elite/Lego/RM bi-weekly or once a month or something like that...
I'm not sure crafting is the way new users should be able to break into higher tier play. It's really meant to reward people who have been playing at that level or higher, for one or more seasons.
But either way, I'm for any solution that makes it more likely people who play get cards. And a queue is the opposite of that.
@wild narwhal 's wife doesn't need more lego golfers. And I don't want to sit in a queue to watch her get them 😉
