Be careful. Forager and adept forager don t have the same effect. Forager, the one with stars, give perfect score to the gathering minigame, wich can be easely replaced by just using the easy difficulty with HUD visible in the settings. Adpet forager (the one with sun and moon and a branch) gives perfect conditions no matter the weather/time of day (like rainstorm for pale materials) and its way better at giving higher stats. So its better to go Relun Fish Stew (red mushroom plus mud fish, both noble or more) and then any recipe with a seed with +45% gathering and an egg to get the higher gathering buff.

Weird... maybe they changed it recently. In my game it doesn t give the same buff even if i get a perfect minigame with both due to weather.
