If you don’t like those stripes just choose another one or download a mod, they’re the vanilla stripes that Ubisoft made so there’s nothing to do for the forehead unless you use a different pattern or a mod

a lot of them replace the researcher shirt because they are retextures of said shirt (they aren't new models or anything that can be applied to different models)

AFOP modding is very limited

because of the modloader and the limited knowledge of snowdrop engine

so its only ever one retexture of the researcher shirt working in game

models can be moved around but you can never have two retextures of the same shirt active in game unfortunately

I think that's mostly the reason of why Researcher Shirt is the most/main used one, because it's basically a plain and simple one. All other skins have some detail that wouldn't allow a full retexture to look right

so unless someone finds a way to fully replace a skin model, the options will be limited

Yeah so the tail wrap is drawn onto the mod, you wouldn't be able to have it separately - unless you were to ask the creator of said mod to maybe make a version without the better body. Pretty sure Tseyks made the mod

^as casocki said, they share the same texture file, so by editing it, you remove all the fur from all the cosmetics added in the spires dlc update. Kukulope’s outfits fur and I think a zeswa loincloth are an exception to this, but they can’t be removed

You also need to be patient or learn how to do it yourself. I know you want these things done, but pinging people without permission or waiting for a response and posting the same question in multiple channels/servers isn’t how you go about asking people to do things for you.

Modding is admittedly very easy once you get started from the things I see you wanting done. Erasing parts of textures and recoloring things are what I’ve seen, and both of those are 20/30 minute processes if you know what you’re doing, but very easy to learn if you don’t.

The absolute hardest part of the process is picking out the file names and paths, but there’s a “code” we can use to figure that out so you can find the items you’re looking for, and Hunter gives you the file path already.

I’m not trying to be rude, I’m just trying to bring some things to your attention.

I was going to install some mods on my computer, just to try it out and I noticed in all the tutorials on installing mods they have a "blue" folder. I do not have this and I've Uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Is this something I'm suppose to make or is it something else?

A good rule of thumb for afop modding: if you don't have it, create it! So yes, you'll need to make it. If downloading multiple mods, though, make sure you always have only one of each folder - most have different paths afaik, but some'll have the same folders at the start

yep, the "blue" folder isn't native to the game, it's made specifically for mods so yes, you will need to create it (some mod packages will come with it then you could just drop those directly)

first thing that comes to mind is you've got either a head file thats been lightened (i know one or two of the albino mods do this) - or your body file has been darkened

Universal Snowdrop Modloader is what actually loads the mods in the game, you still needs it even if you use Vortex.
Vortex is just a tool to manage the mod files, so instead you unpacking stuff and placing it on the proper places Vortex will do that for you

TL;DR: USM is the mod loader, Vortex is a mod manager

Unfortunately it's not. The code has to be claimed through the xbox store on xbox and ps store on playstation, and stuff from those stores are limited to the said platform. This has been confirmed by ubi staff.

in other words, if multiple mods change exactly the same item you can have only one of them active

Thing is, the mods just "replicate" files the game already has in its data file. The modloader just "deviates" it to instead look if the files exist on your disk before looking into the game's data file, if it founds them it will just tell the game to load those instead
