I've installed everything in the right place (I think?) but the mods aren't working. The game itself launches and runs fine otherwise. The pathway is Ubisoft/Ubisoft Game Launcher/games/AFOP, am I missing something?

I believe the instructions to using it are told where it's downloadable, but iirc it's not much. When making mods, it's mostly about finding the right files and knowing what to do to them tbh

And the process is different for all files, for example ikran (color) customisation is all different to making an all-new chestguard texture

Unfortunately we're unable to create any new models, so the only possible ways are to combine existing ones (I believe someone, possibly tseyks, was combining hairs just a while back?)
I'm not sure how far in the game you are, but you can also open more hairs and hair colors by contributing to community baskets :)

the eye colours aren’t too complicated to change. the hair colours are though
with eyes the hardest part is figuring out which part controls what. i’d suggest making an eye colour with 4 different colours and writing down where each colour goes

the eye colours and how they work allow you to make eyes that have heterochromia in two different ways (central and two different eyes of different colours)

another neat mod would be to have the ikran color with the black and white paint but without the saddles and stuff that cosmetic with it, I love that one but I'm not the biggest fan of the cosmetic add ons (not a complaint just a neat idea)

Hunter is fine. Your PC could just be alerting for any of a kind of file from an "unknown" publisher, like .exe or something. What exactly is it saying?

Once you download and extract that there'll be a folder with two files, version.dll and version.ini

You'll move both of those files to a folder called AFOP.
There are two folders called AFOP. One is usually in documents and has a screenshots folder; this is the wrong one.
The other is probably through program files and contains a bunch of .dll files. This is where you put the version dll and ini

One last thing
The way these all work is putting edited files in essentially a shared tree of folders

If you download more, some might tell you what paths to make and some might come in their own blue folders. You only need one of each, so for example you can take the next mod out of its blue folder and put the next one down (like baked or dlc shared) in your existing blue
