I started on a good foot in the game because I started off with the premium version of the game that came with a ton of Sarentu hunter gear

A note that you wouldn't use ma here and ma also doesn't have a tìftang (') after it (Nefika and her "ma'yawntu" is incorrect LOL)

Think of ma like the discord @ function. It's a vocal marker to indicate who the speaker is addressing!
You only use it when directly addressing the person/thing you're mentioning!

Photoshoot of a new character design I've been testing out 👀 Still Narel, but a variant of them from another timeline I've called 'Leyran'

Backstory if anyone's interested:
I plan to make different versions of my main Na'vi Narel on other saves so I've been experimenting with looks. They will all be the same character but from alternate universes, like the many Loki variants in the MCU. One of them is basically the opposite of Narel in terms of personality and I reversed their name (Leyran), which is the one you see here and even their ikran's colour is the reverse of Narel's ikran (light vs dark)

Narel was visually based on one of my original OCs (not Avatar-related) so all versions of Narel will pay homage to that OC, whose original concept was based on a snow leopard as they're my favourite animals. Snow leopards are known as the 'ghost of the mountains' so Leyran's design is largely inspired by that

It doesn’t sound rude lol But Danté doesn’t like hats or headgear in general. In his backstory I’ve made for him, there’s a reason that he never wears a headpiece lol His older brother takes a bullet to the head and dies trying to save him while they’re escaping from the RDA factory that we begin the game in. This brews a special kind of hatred for the RDA in Danté and he also never wears a hat or headgear in his brother’s honor. His constant saying is that “If I die fighting, it will be the same way as my brother”

My Danté is a bit of an underdog case as he was adopted in by the Zeswa and no one in particular took him in but rather he was just in the tribe so he wasn’t left out in the open plains as a kid. He was also picked on as he grew because he half Metkayina, meaning he’s meant to have lighter skin and a thicker tail. And to the Zeswa his piercing green eyes aren’t normal, so he was teased about that too. All that bubbled him into being a bit of a hot head so he has anger issues and if it’s not fighting those guys in the tribe who pick on him, he channels it into going out and looking for RDA to bust up lol

That’s dope!! Yeah Danté’s mother was of Anurai Clan and his father was Metkayina. They met through trade between arts and other cultural exchanges when the Anurai visited the islands and his father decided to go back with her when she traveled home. They had Danté and his older brother soon after

Tbh that was something I noticed (lack of male characters among players) so that was one of the reasons I picked the male body for my main Na'vi as someone who usually picks female characters in games, it's usually because clothes are gender-locked and the female option tends to have better variety but in AFOP that's not the case so I'm glad for it

That, and besides the fact I based them on my OC who is nonbinary and has a more masculine looking figure + I like the musculature on the male model. I use the female model on my other two characters but took me a while to get used to them but I like how the differences are subtle

To pose, switch between a pose and no pose, and the character will do the idle animation for a bit. Then just do that until you get a pose you like.
