Guys, i want to know your opinions and approach on this matter. Obviously we can hunt in AFoP in order to crafting weapons and cook meals. My question is are you fellas going to over hunt those biomes for exp and materials grinding? I know it's a game so don't criticize me please 😁. But as we know we are trying to be fully immersed in Na'vi ways and I believe true Na'vi kill as necessary.
I really want to know how you guys gonna do about this? Will you play with conscience or steamrolled everything?

would be interesting to play a game were u can rearange and replace destroy build up everything what u want, thats the freedom most games today lack, beautyfull worlds look but not touch. if it comes to ethics... if i were a human from a dieing planet and my days are numbered, and i have a chance to find something ont his planet that prevents my world from dieng as much i know humankind, we wouldnt fight a long time little war u expect from most of the shooter games, i would expect throwing some asteroids on the surface to eradicate most of the problems, well the genui point not to do that would be that unoptanium dont like getting hit to hard, but i think we are allready pass that, from the first Movie, were they slammed a big plane with explosives close to it without anything dangerous...

i realy have problems with the ethik thing following what ethic guidline, today we can even protect our own planet, yes yes climatechange, but do u know 2029 the next asteroid comes so close to earth u may spot it with bear eyes, and on its next round it has a much higher chance of impact then this year, and on the next spins more, do u see anyone on earth, spinding brainmaterial on defending humankind, do u see someone doing something, no, we still kill fight silly wars and are not even be able to jump away from stuff we do to heat up earth, wich will kill us in the long term, cuz we allready passed the first breakting points on the root to no return, knowing all this, we today dont have a pandora, and even if we know one we have no way to get there save..

so in the end this game will be like others, same blow things up destroy stuff missions or missions to prevent that, with no big other options to do, i dont expect much, and iam shure it wont share the same freedom a conan exiles with mods gives u on gameplay... i just hope they dont mess it up to much with silly pvp gameplay...

but ethiks depend on what is allowed by the enviroment u play in and how strick it is...

I totally get what you were saying about our world. It is because we cant do much, but as another human being who appreciate nature and biomes, we want to feel that we can do something much better than ordinary that lead to preserving nature EVEN it is not in real life. So what are we trying to do here is satisfying our needs to provide better changes in life.

And I know mostly those who loved Avatar is the kind of people who loves nature and appreciate it so much. If we were given chance to save we will do it with our open hands. It just because we are unable to do much with our dying earth so we try it in AFoP. It surely doesn't affecting our world but this put people mind at ease. Temporary. But still to me it is something. Better than nothing.

So if I remember correctly, the reason that Ubisoft wants you to ethically hunt is that you get better ingredients for crafting. Bulldozing may get you lower quality stuff and make your life harder, plus there may be experience points/ skill tree stuff attached to ethical hunting to encourage you to go that route

Plus that aligns more with Cameron’s vision and mission with the avatar franchise which is to care and preserve the environment.

Plus the Navi worship Ewya and focus on preserving the balance of life so grinding for this game would make no sense at all.

I personally don’t like super grindy games. I’m playing a video game to have fun and escape for awhile not to work a second job which is how grindy and competitive games feel to me. 😂
