Based on the info we got Na’vi reach physical and mental maturity between the ages of 15-17. Neytiri was 18 in the first movie and was considered an adult woman. Jake’s avatar was physically 17 and was also considered an adult

Oh I doubt they forgot anything. Based on the panel interviews Luke Stephens and other content creators did the collaboration between Lightstorm and Massive was VERY close. Like they couldn’t add anything into the game without taking it to the execs at lightstorm. For example if they pitched a new creature idea they would have to get on a conference call then lightstorm would take the idea tweak it and work with it on their end, then give it back with some feedback and suggestions and then Massive could add it in. Keep in mind this would take weeks to do. Lightstorm kept some tight reins on the development of FOP for better or for worse.
