Just overlay three games of Rounds on top of each other. Your controls are shared between games, but the maps and cards are different

or just make it a card, where you can pick 2 cards, play 2 games at once for a round and the one you win (if you win any) will stay. if you lose both, you get no card

Long story short though, multiversal time travel mechanics only work well in turn-based games, particularly in 2 player or simultaneous action formats

you just need skill

or, what you could maybe create, is a card that adds input delay (for example ping, but idk if you can manipulate that) but also damage, so you get a payoff
