god i'm so sorry- i can only imagine how awful that was. my cousins went to HS with george (i feel compelled to note that they were scholarship students so not the typical landon grads), not in his grade but it's so small so they still knew him/his family. that whole thing was so sad and horrifying. yeardley seemed lovely.

thanks. it definitely had a huge ripple effect even on folks who didn't know them personally - i feel like we ALL knew "that couple" (especially in university where young adults are still figuring their shit out) that was together, broke up, hooked up with other people while broken up, got back together, learned that they had hooked up with others while "on a break", had an argument, broke up, again and again and again
