#Updated to Cider 3.0 and now program can't run

Opened Cider and it had an update to do, so I restarted it and I was greeted by the normal "What's new popup." However, whenever I tried to listen to any songs, nothing happened. So I restarted Cider again and was greeted by this screen talking about setting up Webview2.

However, when it completed, it hung on the screen saying "WebView2 initialization complete." Before eventually closing on its own.

Now whenever I launch Cider I'm greeted by a quick attempt to "Prepare the Cider interface" before eventually getting hung on "WebView2 initialization complete." and crashing whenever you leave focus.

OS: Windows 10

i have the same problem 😦 i cant open the app.

For me I just opened the app and it said that I needed to buy the app (which I already did on the Windows Store). Opened the app again and got the same WebView2 prompt

You may wanna try Resetting the app in Settings.

hi! yes, that worked ♡ i had to fully reset the app and not just repair it.
