I keep Cider on my side monitor which is in portrait mode, when listening to albums and certain playlists after searching for them, it looks like this. Impossible to see the titles of songs. If i manually find the album in my library, the art is at the top and i can see the tracklist underneath it (and can see song just fine). Reinstalling didn't help.

Disable Tall (iOS) Portrait Mode, and drag the sidebar to collapse into the Compact Sidebar
Those both really help.
Let me get the actual setting name for this hold on.
this stuff?
no wait that's not helping
and collapsing the sidebar barely helps
oh i found it i think, under tweaks?
but it was already off :( and enabling it changes nothing
oh well nevermind i realized if i use the search bar like inside the library it doesnt give me the big art on the side, so i'll just do it like that for now
@errant crater Go to Settings > Visual > Content Preferences
There should be a setting for "Album View/Page"
It will do the same thing "Tall (iOS) Style" toggle does, but for albums.
Sorry I fell alseep 😭
dont worry man, thanks
ive been trying to memorize the settings page and i almost have !! it comes in handy :]
