I've purchased and installed cider-2.2.0.x86_64.rpm. After login to Apple music Cider does not reflect that, furthermore it shows a bottom line banner which says "YOU ARE IN PREVIEW ONLY MODE". I've performed a Clean install as recommended on Troubleshooting guide, but the issue remains..

If you want to know how to. Here.

To get your AM token

  2. Login and then press Shift + Ctrl + i

  3. Head over to the "Storage"/"Application" section.

  4. Navigate to Cookies and then https://music.apple.com

  5. Click on Filter Items or Press Ctrl + F and search media-user-token

  6. Double click it and copy your token.

  7. Profit

The user token method does not work for me (using latest version of cider from itch.io). I followed the steps and copied the token nad it just does nothing. The menu to enter the user token persists and clicking "Sign In" does nothing

System: Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS x86_64 - 5.15.0-83-generic
Cider Version: 2.2.0 (Build Date 09/17/2023 7:45:53 AM)

I'm like you @ruby bay . I use Ubuntu 22.04 LTS and the version 2.1.1 . It worked some hours ago, but it log me off, and now I want sign in

Probally a server outage somewhere

I fixed this by manually updating to 2.2. I'm assuming that the server has a version check, so it prevents login if on 2.1.
