Do you use Cider 1.x or Cider 2.x?
in case of Cider 2: just click OK or close the window, it should work

Cider 1.x is broken
install 1.6.1 from https://github.com/ciderapp/Cider/releases/tag/v1.6.1 or move to Cider 2.x
